why dilapidated cars should stay off the roads

i was driving two car lengths behind this old van when its left rear wheel and tire suddenly detaches from the axle for no apparent reason (wala namang lubak or anything on the road). the tire rolled quickly into the opposite lane (startling the jeepney driver in front of me and the driver of a car in the opposite lane) for a few dozen meters, jumps the curb, rolls on the sidewalk for another few dozen meters, then hops back onto the road and continued to roll out of sight.

good thing the tire didn't hit any vehicle or person, but still, it's not hard to imagine what an incredible accident could have resulted. and what if the wheel of this clunker chose to declare its independence on the highway??

I think there is a law for that but as usual its not implemented.

ah parang yung nangyari sa ken weeks before. ganyan den. i was on the other side of the road when the whole tire of the kia pride on my left detached itself from the car. kakadisgrasya talaga pag ganyan.

meron sa bf homes dati box type na lancer umagang umaga pa nun nung makita ko na nasa gitna ng road yung box type na lancer.Yun nga lang dun sa lancer naputol kasama yung disc brake at rims niya..

wala kasing law na pwede nang pakabitan sa manila bay ng talaba ang mga ganyan kotse herher... Sa SLEX nga meron owner type jeep patabingi ang takbo, mabagal at nasa shoulder na. Nakakatakot kasi baka biglang makalas ang gulong hi-way pa naman yun. Hindi man lang pinatigil ng mga SLEX police sa tollgate

Hindi kaya nakalimutang higpitan ang turnilyo ng gulong nang magpavulcanize sya?

Muntik na rin akong matanggalan ng gulong sa coastal. Bayaw ko nagkabit ng gulong matapos ipavulcanize. Akalain mo, hand tight lang ang lug nuts at nakalimutan gamitan ng wrench. Mula noon hindi na ako nagtitiwala kahit kanino.

nung weekend, isang mitsubishi adventure naman yung tinamaan sa ilalim ng kung anong disk (hindi ko sure, bsta parang sa gulong galing e) na natanggal galing sa isang 10-wheeler truck sa may amin, opposite lanes sila. tingin ko nga bakal e, kasi lakas ng tunog nung tumama sa ilalim nung adventure. hindi naman natanggal yung gulong nung truck, buti na lang, kundi mas malaking disgrasya yun, loaded pa naman yung truck
