April 30th, 2003 09:31 PM #1an A-arm.. i don't know if this is what it is really called. some call it suspension like in evangelista. its U-shaped and it is where the ball joint is attached.. thanks to those who reply!!!!!

If I'm not mistaken that's the front lower suspension arm.
Yes nakakabit doon yung ball joint. In some cars, kapag laspag na balljoint they replace the whole arm. Peron meron sa Banawe na pine-press lang yung balljoint sa machine-shops para balljoint lang mapapalitan hindi buong arm.
Experts correct me na lang if I'm wrong.

replacing just the ball joint of the A-arm will only temporarily fix the problem, it'll wear out again in a few months. Best to replace the entire part with an orginal replacement.
