climate control, usually digital controls of your aircon's thermostat. you can set it at a particular temperature na rather than using knobs to toggle the coldness of your a/c.

    here's a sample from bosch:

mga kotse na may climate control feature are the nissan cefiro, exalta grandeur, galant vr, etc. usually high-end automobiles.

yung mga converted vehicles from Japn meron niyan. pag set mo kunyari 18C. initially palalamigin niya yung sasakyan hanggang ma reach niya yung temp. tapos the blower wil turn off and maintan yung temp. tapos pag uminit ulit bigla buga ulit yung blower. kakagulat nga minsan e.

the purpose of climate control is to maintain the preset temperature inside the vehicle despite changes in outside or ambient temperature.

the galant VR was the first locally available car to have this feature. then it also became standard in most nissan cars within the next few years. now toyota also has this in the altis 1.8 and camry.

    climate control = A/C

Lahat ng kotseng may A/C, may climate control.

what i would accept as climate control is when the system includes controlling the humidity ... wala pa yatang dehumidifier para sa oto dito sa pinas ... mataas kasi ang humidity natin kaya kahit malamig ang aircon, parang hindi pa rin comfortable

sa ibang bansa naman na four seasons A/C and heater combination but still no humidity control

i think climate involves three parameters ... temperature, humidity and pressure ... pressure control is not necessary for cars unless it is designed for mt. everest ... but humidity control can be a practical thing to do if total comfort is to be achieved ... wishful thinking lang hehe

Climate control nga ang tawag sa a/c ng sasakyan be it automatic or manual. On most new cars, may heater na as well as a/c para mas controlled mo ang climate inside the cabin.

    kinyo,
Yung 'fan only' mode (no compressor, no heater) ang supposedly dehumidifier ng sasakyan (although it is not really very good at it).

'fan-only' dehumidifier? "(although it is not really very good at it)" correct, because it doesn't work ... mahirap ipaliwanag ng physics ito ...

mas maniniwala pa ako kapag sabihin na yung a/c din ang nagsisilbing dehumidifier because it could somehow reduce water content of air inside the cabin as you see the water getting drained underneath the car ... but this dehumidifying effects of a/c may not be enough to bring humidity down to comfort level ... humidity in phil is 60-70% ... with a/c, it could go lower to 50% ... comfort level is <40% :bald:

yup ... pagdating sa marketing, daming ka-ek-ekan sila ... minsan tinanung ko salesman ng hyundai kung ano yung "turbo intercooler", sabi nya "pampabilis, sir!"
