my son already schooling but to get it there it will take two rides
house to intersection / intersection to school but the distance is only less than 4 kilometers

so to compute: 8.00 (jeep fare) * 2 (rides) = 16.00 * (2 pabalik) = 32.00

(pickup)
and in afternoon 8.00 (jeep fare) * 2 = 16.00 * (2 pabalik) =32.00

therefore
32.00+32.00=64 pesos per day


or
using Car which is only 1.3 engine gas consumption is 10-12km per liter in city driving, but just using the car in short distance (on and off engine) will also help more fuel consumption

IMO, i say na hatid sunod na lang ng oto... 4 kilometers aint that much. plus security pa kung nakaoto.

IMO, minimal lang yun gastos either way, around P1k+/month for the commuting..so I guess it will not really affect your cash flow naman...doesn't really make any difference either way...

more benefit kung ihahatid mo anak mo, siyempre comfortable sariling kotse gamit and hinde na palipatlipat and mainit...

makita mo na hinde mahirapan anak, that alone out benefit all other options kahit mas mahal pa gastusin mo

tama, kung maliit pa ang anak mo, ihatid mo na lang. very minimal lang yan, comfortable pa sya. and besides, he will feel good that his parents are giving him that kind of concern.

pero kung high school na o late elementary na (Grade 5-Grade 6), yaan mo sya mag commute, para matuto din..

yung anak ko (Grade 3 - 8 year old) lives around 1 kilometer from our place. I have the option to:

a. just have him go to school via tricycle and back;
b. the option to put him on a school bus (both way)
c. the option to bring him to school in the morning and on a school bus going home.

since i am on flexi-schedule, i chose option c. comfortable yung bata at the same time, pabalik nya, secured sya. kung tricycle kasi, mahihirapan sya pag umuulan.

I usually hatid sundo ko naman cla using car napag isip lang ako kasi kanina hinatid lang cya ng kasamahan namn dito sa bahay balikan din kaya nagkaroon ako ng comparison
