All gasoline products out there (including Velocity, Blaze) are already unleaded.

of course it's advisable to follow what's on the manual or what's recommended by the manufacturer. and leaded gasoline, if you can still find some, is more expensive. kung nalagyan man, i don't think the engine would knock since it's they've practically the same octane rating.

...brand new? EFI ba yan? sa fuel injected cars kasi, engine knock (due to fuel) is almost non-existent.

You should follow your owner's manual regarding fuel to use. your catalytic converter (if present) might get damaged if you use leaded fuel. Also, you are doing Mother Nature a favor if you use unleaded fuel

    1. All fuels are already unleaded (this is mandated by law)
    2. Follow what the manual states (usually 93 octane minimum)
    3. You can opt to put higher octane fuel if you wish to
    4. You shouldnt go lower then what your min. octane requirement is as this is where engine knocking comes in.
    5. Engine knock still occurs in new/EFI cars, sometimes its just hard to detect or hear it as the cars and engines nowadays are much more refined. There are also some engines that automatically retard the timing once detonation is detected so you wont really notice but it can make performance suffer.

    unleaded na lahat yan.

blaze, xcs, velocity, gold, silver, etcetera etcetera ay mga product names lang.

parang sa mineral water, dami brand names pero H2O pa din yun.

Just don't put regular 89 in there. It's hard to believe, but there are a few "probinsya" gas stations that still serve the old ginebra.

Knocking only occurs when you go down in octane... never up.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
