Ace Vergel's Honda S2000 smoked by a twin carb owner type jeep in a quarter mile drag race at Clark apparently happened months ago? 8O

This topic came up during a recent drinking spree with friends, quite unbelievable baka gawa gawa lang...can anybody confirm this?

I think I saw that, but I think it was just one race/run...and I don't remember if the jeep won overall?!?

saka di na yata streetable yun owner jeep eh. whereas yung s2000 ni AV ay nakikita mo sa kalsada.

Sometimes nasa skills din siguro ng driver. whatever mods or lakas ng engine under the hood nasa diskarte din...considering that it's only just a quarter mile. Baka nga nasa second gear ka pa lang tapos na ang race di ba? Opinion lang po. :wink:

kahit ano naman pwedeng gawing top drag car e... imo. just because it's an owner type jeep doesn't mean it can't haul ass on the drag strip, and besides, the S2000 doesn't seem to be well-suited to drag racing
