Kelan ba dapat magpalit ng timing belt, at what odometer reading ?

April 18th, 2003 10:56 AM #2usually nakalagay sa manual every 100,000 kms dapat magpalit ng timing belt. pero d2 sa pinas dapat mga 80000 kms. hth

April 18th, 2003 12:47 PM #3Depende rin sa usage mo ng makina mo. Kung palahataw ka, it will be earlier. Kung panay normal driving ka tatagal.
A good sign to look out for is the noise of the belt tensioners. Kung may squeaking sound na, its a sign dapat palitan mo na timing belt and lahat ng tensioners.

normally 100,000 kms.
i had mine changed at 75,000 kms though. (as suggested by our mechanic) ... better safe than sorry. it's cheaper to replace timing belt than to have your engine overhauled.

Thanks for all your reply, just want to make sure what my mechanic told me, really have to change na kasi 95,000 km ang odo reading.
