hi peeps! burat naman o , bago nanaman dent auto ko galing cguro sa edge ng rear door na binuksan and tinamaan ako...well, ano pa ba magagawa ko para maprevent yun? or wala na talaga ako magagawa?share your experiences....

March 10th, 2003 05:15 PM #2unfortunately wala. it can happen in many ways like mall parking na medyo burara yung katabi mo sa parking, flying stones, etc. i think armored cars lang ang hindi pwedeng magkaroon ng dent eh.

March 10th, 2003 05:27 PM #4wala ka talagang magagawa pag di maingat yung mga nakapaligid sa sasakyan mo. kailangan sigurong maging mas mapili ka pa sa pag hanap ng parking area, yung malaki ang allowance on both sides. sa mga dents naman paintless dent repair (PDR) kuha lahat yan

March 10th, 2003 07:48 PM #7actually there is one way to prevent this.. usually when i go to rockwell, i park sa basement then occupy two parking spaces, park ka sa line, wala namang aangal sayo kasi sobrang luwag ng parking dun, kahit weekends, masikip lang dun pag may sikat na live band or something.. this only applies to rockwell though, kasi sa other places masikip at baka pagalitan ka ng guard. by the way, yung car ko may isang small dent din, tinamaan din ng edge ng door ng katabi kong car, mga magkano kaya ipaayos yun?

March 10th, 2003 10:34 PM #11Door guards may help but not fully. The best thing pa din ay pagiingat. Pag medyo masikip ang space sa parking then find another which is wider.

Though effective is your suggestion maybe but in general it's not courteous. Just use the space alotted for you (only one) and not take two.

1. Park only in lots with bigger spaces
2. If you have a choice, don't park close to cars that look like their owners don't care about their condition. Park next to nice, new/clean cars.
3. Don't park next to vans or SUV's. Usually they contain kids who are not very careful when they open their doors
4. Park in a corner space, so only one side of your car has a car next to it.
5. If necessary, park closer to the car on your left rather than on your right. There's always a chance that the car on the left does not have a passenger...but the car on the right will ALWAYS have a driver
