Not as much as the actual condition of the vehicle itself.

Halos wala nang pumapansin sa number of owners ngayon since yung mga 'konti' ang number of owners madalas dinadaya lang naman ang papers (e.g. using open deed of sale).

Huwag lang siguro sobrang dami ng may ari at baka magtaka ang buyer why the car keeps changing hands so many times (baka may problema ang unit).

i think it matters. more owners means maintenance and accident history gets buried even further.

parang pag may bagong GF ka at sinabi niya sa iyo kung ilan ang ex BF niya. kung ikaw ang first, feeling superstar ka :showoff: but the more exes she has, the better the chance na laspag na siya

Just decided against it.

    That depends.

If the car has been well maintained (receipts/repairs/history) then the number of previous owners doesn't matter much. But if you're getting one without a history, it would definitely matter.

FWIW, our ae92 Corolla had 4 or 5 owners and we got this car back in 2002 or 2003 yata. It has 222k miles on it and still runs. Then again the 81 300TD we had was sold with 372k miles and was a 2 owner car (first owner, tapos kami). No history/records/receipts and with the high mileage, it is still in demand. First two days we posted this on Craigslist, 5 kaagad yung tumawag.

I don't think it's a BIG factor, but it would affect somehow. Halos lahat ng buyers yata ay nagtatanong kung pang ilan owner na yung seller. It still depends on the condition of the unit.

thanks sa lahat ng nagreply. i'm buying a car kasi. 1995 na yung model pero yung unit mukha pang 2000 model. as in fresh in/out pa. may 3 previous owners pero 2 lang ang nagpa-transfer sa name nila. yung 3rd, naka-open deed of sale. nag-2nd though akong bilhin dahil pang 4th na ako bale. sa price, wala akong prob.
