people,

Here's the picture....

hope you all know what PCV is!

Things needed to build :
1. air adjuster (pang aquarium) the yellow color from Mazda
or a T-connector;
pang LPG yung gamit ko parang logo ng Benz ... wala kasi akong mabili...
see the jpg with the red color
2. 1 meter hose (yung pang fuel filter)
3. hose clamp (optional)
4. fuel filter (see pictures)
5. check valve (optional)

before you build this thing....
1. make sure na walang problema ang engine nyo ha!!!!????
2. try to observe the smell of your exhaust...
sa akin kasi na notice ko hindi na masakit sa ilong ang fume.
3. also check your current RPM, sa galant ko 750rpm pag idle...

how to build....
1. from PCV to intake manifold.
- remove the existing hose .(if you feel hindi ok ang gawa mo.. balik mo uli yung original )
2. add short hose from PCV and connect the T-Connector
3. now,you still have two holes na open from T-Connector right?
4. yung isang hole connect mo sa fuel filter.
yung other end ng fuel filter, goes to your intake manifold.
5. the last hole should be open. use the air adjuster na pang aquarium
- the size of the open hole is about 5/16
-(the air should be filtered from your existing air cleaner)
6. Last thing to do is adjust the advancer of the distributor (optional yun)

yung sa mazda, short cut yun... i put a hole in hose kaya walang T-Connector.

maybe... you gonna ask me whats the use of fuel filter?...
well, you will notice later that the oil will trap on that... just clean it
i used to clean this every 250 km of my travel going to pangasinan...
why trap the oil? if you don't trap it... the oil will go on top of your piston
and burn it,and that causes smoke on your tailpipes. pag may oil ang piston
hindi fuel efficient diba? let's burn fuel lang...

its saves me 200 pesos a week on my gas allowance after doing this...

Romy

PCV i think is a valve located on (before) the exhaust....i cant find my car repair book e... anyway...di ko magets ng husto...a picture would work.

To post the picture you have to right click the image on that sight and click on properties. It would show you the exact site with the filename of the picture (usually it ends with jpg or gif). Select this this and right click then select copy (in other words you copied that web address).

The to post it here you have to type "" HTH

I think that device sounds logical....the reason why it saves him fuel is because it is able to suck back the unburned fuel from the PCV and back into the intake manifold. The other "open" tube will provide naman a filtered fresh air from outside the engine. The use of the aquarium air regulator will help in controlling the amount of air that gets into the vechicle.

Please note that the intake manifold would create a vaccum when the engine is running so it is able to suck in anything from outside....the filter will help clean the sucked air and unburnt fuel (which is in the form of fuel fumes with oil in it). If it sucked too much air the engine might die because a/f ratio becomes too lean (a/f means air-fuel - more air, less fuel ... 14:1 is a typical ideal mix)...that is why he optionally suggest advancing the distributor..advancing will give a little more fuel.... or reducing the opening of the open tube with the aquarium air adjuster.

my 2 cents.
