IMO We should take a hard stance against buying stolen goods -- It only shows that there's a demand for such and gives money to thieves.
plus, if you are dumb enough to buy a car from someone you don't know/trust, without any proof of registration or clear title, then you deserve to lose the money you paid for it.Originally Posted by splerdu

reminds me when i saw my 1st car (97 Sentra) last week.... heheh sa malayo palang nakilala ko na... but its not carnapped.
anyway, BTTT... sa tingin ko kasagwat yung nakuhaan... is he stupid enough to buy a super cheap 100K petot 99 SiR without the orig OR/CR...knowing na di mo naman kakilala yung seller personally?
kaya kame pag bumibili ng 2ndhand, we see to it na nakikipagdeal kame sa place ng seller at syempre na check yung papers ng car before handing down an "earnest money".
