cguro palit engine na lang nga ako.. kasi ayoko din ma-feel nung susunod na bibili ng kotse ko yung nafi-feel ko ngayon. saka tutal, palugi din naman ako kung ibebenta ko sya ng mura. so siguro, baka kailangan ko ngang mag sacrifice. saka takot narin ako na baka magka problema parin ako kung bibili ako ng ibang auto na di ko rin alam history nun unless bili ako bago (kaso wala po ako pambili. )
kung magpapalit ba ko ng engine sure na ba yun na magiging ok na sya? wala bang ibang parts na maapektuhan? magkano na ba palit engine ngayon sa Mitsu Galant SS Matic?
Alwayz_yummy: Magkano po yung sinabi mong engine? San po kaya pwede makabili nun at magaling magkabit?

sakin, 13 yrs old na cd5, magastos talaga bro, i had general overhaul performed, body repair at least thrice? (lost count, lol), shocks, springs, aircon compressor, rack & pinion, clutch system, radiator etc etc. basta lahat halos napalitan ko na at least twice. finally after replacing them ok na sya ngayon, service sya ng little sis ko. like you, its my first car, may sentimental value na din so di ko binenta at the same time 50k lang ata kia prides ngayon haha tsaka we need a 2nd car badly and we can't afford to buy another one. advantage? may maling tunog lang ako marinig alam ko na sakit nya, alam ko na lifespan ng mga parts nya at yung nice feeling na despite her age, she still runs good. other than those eh disadvantage na lahat, maubos pera't oras mo, kunsomisyon talaga hahaha

Dahil napamahal na sa yo yang galant mo, i-retain mo na lang. Tapos kumaibigan ka na lang ng isang mechanic na magaling and trustworthy para mas menos ang gastos mo sa labor dahil less or no backjobs. Baka maturuan ka pa mag-DIY.

Benta mo na lang, but please make sure the buyer is aware of the problems. Medyo babaan mo na lang presyo, para may budget yung buyer para mapaayos, tska good karma na rin.
I just sold my Sentra 3 weeks ago. I had it for almost 11 years, bought it brand new. Andaming good memories, trusted daily ride ko talaga. Pero kailangan nang ibenta eh, kasi pandagdag pondo. Haaay, I miss it so much. Buti na lang barkada ko bumili, anytime I want to see it again, madaling pakiusapan.

ikot-ikot ka sa banawe, hanap ka lang ng fresher engine....budgetan mo ng 20-30T minimum, 50T max, lahat-lahat...
pag nakakita ka na, have it checked by your TRUSTED(not just any) mechanic... LTO-change engine /TMG clearance fees pa...
basta kung makakakuha ka ng 4g93 DOHC, tipid nyan sa gasolina, at decent ang hatak... 4g63 DOHC is just fine too...
wala ko marefer, kasi hanap-hanap lang ako--PM ko sayo yung binilhan ko ng surplus a/t ko for my liteace, ha..hanapin ko lang yung resibo..

in my experience...once nagumpisa yung iba-ibang sakit ng kotse, mahirap nang maging reliable siya...even if you go to the extremes of an overhaul or engine swap.
you also can't put a price on your peace of mind everytime you go out there onto the roads. if you don't trust the car anymore ibenta mo na...

i agree with them sir, benta mo na lang. tutal naayos mo naman yun engine kahit po papano. kaya lang hanggan kelan ang ibibigay nyang serbisyo.. benta mo na lang po para matangal sakit ng ulo mo po..

Benta mo na lang yan, pero dapat sa presyong tapat naman and sabihan mo na yung bibili ng mga kailangan nya pagawa.
