This is my philosophy exactly. Keep it stock looking and very neat but when you press the go pedal, hang on for dear life!! Most of my expenses went to the go and "stop" portion of the equation. I spent just a little on the suspension, wheels, and tires. I would say 25% Show and 60% Go and 15% Stop. In my opinion, one must never forget to match the stopping power with the Going power.

Good call - I have a 330ci (c for 2dr)...my handle refers to my car's engine designation, as you've guessed. I assume that you have BMW on the brain just like me ;) :D

I'm really quite proud of the outcome. Here's a site that did a feature on my vehicle some time ago. Let me know what you think

Let me know what you think. This vehicle took first in the sportsman class at the South Harbor race back in 2000 and First in Show for luxury cars at the Car and Truck expo back in 2001.

Very nice setup Wolvie...if I'm not mistaken, your car shares the same engine as the N/A Supra, right? There are quite a few (formerly) N/A 3.0 Supras running around Florida with 500+ hp huge single-turbo setups. What mods have you done?

So its a coupe he! Nice car with an excellent silky smooth straight six! BMW does not sell it here because the power range of the 330i is well over what the streets here can take!

Yup, I also have a bimmer albeit a slower one hehehe! its a 320i E36 sedan. It is presently under surgery hehehe! I have installed a Mosselman turbo and intercooler kit. While at it, I decided to ceramic-coat the engine innards to be able to take on the added pressure of the turbo. BTW, brakes and suspension were uprated beforehand with brembo and bilstein/h&r respectively.

if i can afford it (though not yet... not for a long while), i also want a 330i and install an active autowerke OBDII turbo system.

I use a single turbo kit from Toyomoto which is a Florida based tuner. I basically made it into a supra turbo. Used the supra brakes too. Additional injectors and an HKS boost controller. Oh and the surpa intercooler too. Quite an extensive list but too tedious to outline.

it depends on what ride you have, if you have SUV like a Durango, show is not needed, kung honda, ok na siguro kung full muffler kit, suspensions, air intake, rims.

I'm pretty sure most of us have at one time or another needed that extra amount of Go to pass a left lane hog.

Your M54 probably doesn't have that problem.

Almost all our upgrades will begin with the Stick & Stop parts before the Go parts.

Without Stick & Stop, Go is a liability. 8O

if i had 250k, i would put it in an interest-earning institution to earn MORE MONEY and BUY a car for SHOW and another one for RACE
but if i wouldn't be able to wait for my dough to earn more bucks, i'd buy na lang a 2nd car... more practical don't u think?
