it really depends on my needs, but for sure LOOKS is not one of them. kaya naman pormahan kasi, a set of good rims sapat na.

I have an AUV and a KEI car, bot M/T. combined value of both cars when bought brand new would equal to a brand new SUV now.

Anyway, kung ano ang kailangan at saan gagamitin eh yun ang mahalaga sa pagpili. 2nd is yung reliability and parts. As of now kahit MT eh ok lang since I'm not that old pa naman to drive in the super heavy traffic in Manila.

AUV - used for outings with a family size of 7 (minsan may sumasabay pa) bukod pa sa mga gamit. all we need is a reliable and spacious car.

KEI - used for personal na lakad. kapag mag-isa lang ito ang magandang gamitin kasi matipid sa gasolina. everyday car pagpasok sa opisina, coding yung isa.

2 is better than 1 IMO, for my cars I can buy a TOTL gorgeous SUV (with or without additional cash). pero yun nga ba ang kailangan ko. no. So LOOKS isn't really a factor to me. Mahalaga ay Purpose at Reliabilty and Parts availability.
