Route-sharing, thoughts?

Guys, what do you think of Route-sharing?

Basically, if you are going from point X to point Y at a certain time,
you will be able to advertise and sell the "real estate" on your car (seats) to anyone for a certain price.

I have mixed thoughts on this, really unsure if it is good or bad.

I think tripid is the first app here in the Philippines for this?

with total strangers?? i'd have to ask them to produce their nbi and police clearances.. then a complete body pat, before they can get in my car.
but how do i keep my metro out of sight? puede na ba sa glovebox?
