batmobile nga!
The Batmobile used for the TV show before maybe 40 yrs ago or so, is probably a 1959 Dodge that was heavily modified by George Barris, a renowned car customizer.Originally Posted by oldblue

sir woodfire
r u planning to do a frame off restoration?its true chevys are easier to restore than other brands with the availability of parts in the us.The problem is its a four door usually they have very limited repro parts for 4 doors.
and true its the chrome trims and small parts that will really drain your budget.and of course a frame off restoration

Good point about the 4-door thingy. As they say in the U.S., a four-door sports sedan is two doors too plenty hehehe.
Well, I'm still thinking about it though. Haven't bought it yet from Turbo.
can any body help me, i have a vintage ford which id like to restore. where can i find a shop that can help me with my project?
