I would not have named my car "junior"...

parang ang pangit pakinggan...I always ask our maids before going out in the morning to dust the cars, and ask them sometimes to wash my cars...

so if I named my car junior, then ito ang magiging conversation namin, "inday, paki pagpagan mo nga si junior, or inday, paki hugasan mo nga si junior at gagamitin ko"...hehehehe something is really wrongt...:hysterical:

I was joking my wife that I will call the car number 2.

"Love, sasakyan ko na si number 2 and lalabas muna kami, di ko alam kung what time uuwi."

or she will tell me na "Ang dumi na ni mumber 2, paliguan mo naman, idamay mo na rin ang ilalim."

Why give cars names? Wala lang. Trip lang.

question lang, anong ba ang gender convention sa pag name ng kotse? yung first car ko, a '93 Silver Corolla XE, Quicksilver ang pinangalan ko. ngayon di ko na pipapangalanan, i just refer to them by their color like "pakikuha nga yun susi ng puti".

I think, nasa preference ng owner.

Years ago when i acquired my second hand car a mitsubihi galant lambda, the original owner named it Diego so I still use the name in my possession.
Naming vehicles is somewhat the preference of the owner to differentiate it from the others especially if it has the same brand of cars in his motorpool.

My in-laws named their Adventure "Pogi", primarily because they dressed it up from being a stock GLX. But also probably out of their frustration in not having a biological son.

Following their example, we gave our own Adventure the nickname "Macho". :D

it is the owners prerogative if they want to give a name to their car. like our car we called him Inno. i give him a name because we treat him as a new member of the family.

Richard Hammond called his Opel Kadet, "Oliver" in the recent Top Gear clip on their challenge in Africa

Thinking of calling my car Bruno, after the car designer who worked for MB for several decades (1970's to 2000's). Then again, both MB's we have were by designed by the same guy

Preference pa rin talaga ng owner. Wala namang masama at walang namang mawawala kung bigyan mo ng nickname.

I started giving nickname sa GM Harabas namin. I called it "Harby" para medyo class ang dating kahit na kinakalawang na ito. At least enjoy pa din sakyan.
