it's trying to attract buyers in its local market so pricing has to be competitive. and to do that, it has to be cheap. they'd have to cut corners somewhere.

but still, it's not fair. well, let them catch up with the koreans.

malaysia has HICOM/proton and petronas. we have san miguel, asia brewery, fortune tobacco and SM.

with the picanto, getz, colt etc. this doesnt stand a chance except in malaysia. imo if they really want to penetrate the market they should start with quality n finish. instead because of the poor quality people always think protons are crap.

proton? brand pa lang pangit na pakinggan, hehe, d b ngkaroon na dito ng proton kotse na mitsubishi lancer DAW...IMO di na mabebenta dito yan....
