    ang ganda kasi ng limo nya e... parang tibay ng bulletproof.
    and by the way napansin ko na parang"naka califonia plates pa yata" yung car nya eventough nasa pilipinas sya...and yung mga securities nya sa itim na suburban...califonia plates din...
    and ang nakakapag gulat is babae pa yung driver ng limo!
    sa tingin ko yung limo na ito ay magagamit ni bush sa 6 na country na vivisit nya dahil pati yung kotse nya...sinasakay din sa airplane.

    Nabanggit sa tv, Cadillac yata ang ginamit niya. Iba na nga ang korte ng bubong ng kotse, siguro dahil sa kapal ng salamin sa paligid. Babae pa chauffer niya.

    President Bush uses his own vehicles wherever he goes. He has many limos. The current ones are specially commissioned from Cadillac by the Secret Service.

    As has been White House tradition, the roofline is raised (in relation to the base vehicle) to allow the president to be more visible during ceremonial parades.

    The security level of all White House limousines are a classified. Most limos are destroyed after they have served their purpose.

    A few of them have their top secret armoring and electronic devices removed and are donated to museums.

    And did anyone notice all those antennas sticking out of the back of the trunk and in the backup vehicles ? Some of them are used for electromagnetic jamming of nearby communication devices :-)

    picked up some tidbits about the presidential limo of the USA...

    - windows are non operatable as it is so thick and damn heavy
    - vehicle is airtight! no chem or bio agents can penetrate it
    - at the least, it can withstand a direct rpg hit...

    Is it a Cadillac? As far as I know they are now using the Lincoln.
    Have to check the specs of the U.S. Presidential Limo and share it with you guys.

    I tried calling ungas while we were waiting for the convoy to pass at q. ave. for some strange reason hindi ako makalusot. jam kaya?

    did you guys notice the foot thick doors of his limo?

    how about the suburban na nag overheat on the way back to malacañang? di kaya ang pinas weather.

    hindi gaanong mahigpit ang security. imagine isang policeman lang ang barrier between cars trying to make a right from the sidestreets of q. ave. paano kung may suicide bomber sa isang kotse mag ram sa convoy?

    In general, Lincoln/Cadillac is the same company.

    The remarkable vehicle is the latest accomplishment from Cadillac and the first chief executive limousine of the new millennium. It is also the first Cadillac to carry the division’s new wreath and crest emblem.

    Newly elected president George W. Bush was the first to travel in the Cadillac limousine, which shares the same exterior design with the 2001 DeVille cars.

    The new presidential limousine was designed and built by Cadillac and the GM Specialty Vehicle Group. The GM Cadillac Design Studio styled the body interior and exterior appearance. Although the vehicle shares its exterior design with the 2001 DeVille production cars, the vehicle is handcrafted from the ground up and is the most technologically advanced automobile in the world.

    The old ones used to cost around $3M each if I remember it right. These cars are also bomb proof.
