major preparation is make sure your car is in A1 condition.....

as you prepare too much to condition your ride, pls dont forget to prepare also the most important component of a road trip....THE DRIVER...get plenty of rest/sleep before the trip, be prepared physically and mentally. Do take some short stopovers (wag pilitin)...and most of all pray for your safety.
