Since maintenance costs are a primary consideration for many prospective buyers, it would be good to have a thread that consolidates feedback from owners on how much it really costs to have their cars serviced.

This would allow forumers to go past blanket statements such as "Diesel cars are exorbitantly expensive to maintain" or that "Toyota PMS is so cheap and all others are expensive". With hard numbers, people can make better informed decisions.

Post away the ff. details:
- Car make, model, and year
- Casa/shop
- PMS cost
- PMS details (km driven, services/products availed)

I'll start..

2013 Ford Ranger XLT MT
- Ford Global City
- 10,000 km PMS cost was 8k (Ford only requires intervals of every 10k)
- PMS included 9L of Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 oil, oil filter, brake cleaning
- Unfortunately it also included X1R Fuel Treatment - I was just gone for a second and then I saw the service guys pouring the bottle in my fuel tank. 900 freakin pesos.

If you're going to Ford BGC, be sure to ask for the complete bill of works before they start working on your car so they don't pull any fishy strings.
