Pope's car sells for $244,000

the gray metallic 1999 Volkswagen Golf formerly owned by the Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI , sold for $243,183 at the German EBay last Thursday.
Reimund Halbe sold it to an Austin,TX buyer.He bought the car last January from a used-car delaer in Germany not realizing that it was formerly owned by the new Pope,until he got the registration documents.

swerte yung buyer niyan ah. even if he leaves it stock (may potential ito for an awd monster conversion), for sure, he can sell the car higher in the future ;)
