152 hp... supposedly dynos at 125-130 whp on the rollers, which is terrific for an AT car. (mine dynos at 132-137... still going to confirm when I get my mods done).

Lacks a little torque, but really lively once you get it revving. Love the paddle shifters, as they'll let you do things most manumatics won't.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

K20A3? still? it should've been the true K20A (type r) by this time right? i don't know why HCP doesn't want to bring in the true blue K20A or at least the K20Z3 (Si)

What is the difference between the K20A and K20A3 ? From the pictures they look the same. Is it tuning ? They are both 2.0 liter engines with almost the same parts. Or is it just the ECU ?

I am still experimenting with the paddle shifters cuz i am still heavily dependent on the the shift indicator found at the lower display. One fundamental flaw was they did not put the shift indicator on the upper display where it is much much easy to look at if you want to keep your eyes on the road.

It's not just the ECU and Tuning differs the K20A VS. K20A3.

If that is the JDM civic engine (non type r) then it is a K20Z2 it's the same as the K20A3 where the ivtec system is "only" on the "intake" cam and functions as a 12 valve engine when on low rpm mode and opening only one intake valve so that the air swirls for better combustion. The ivtec system on this engine is dedicated to fuel economy in mind. Unlike the K20A/A2/Z1/Z3/ the ivtec system allows the motor to run in 16 valve mode all the time and when it engages, its on both the intake and exhaust rockers, and opens all 4 valves even more at high RPM.
