1. Fuel Pump- Pumps the fuel from the tank to your carburetor/injectors. Could be electrically powered (mounted near the tank) or mechanically powered (close to the engine)by the engine.
2. Fuel Filter - ah pano ba ito, filters the fuel from the tank...hehe. Keeps dirt and grime from reaching the engine
3. Impeller - works as a water pump to circulate water from the radiator, into the engine and out again.
4. Ignition symstem - compose of distributor, ignition coil, high tension wires and sparkplugs. a system that fires up your sparkplug to ignite the fuel in the combustion chamber.
5. Diode - converts ac to dc normally works in conjunction with the alternator.
6. Alternator - converts mechnical energy to electrical energy.
7. Carbon Brushes - provides contact with the rotor to produce electricity
8. Air Filter - keeps the air suck by the intake maninfold clean.

November 14th, 2007 05:00 PM #7mahal ata ang fuel filter ng galant. dahil hindi ito yung ordinary na plastic filter na ginagamit sa lancers. more than 1k ata ang price neto.
galant alternator is around 5k, non-OEM. mga around 8k ata ang OEM.
i have no idea how much would the air filter cost. pero if it is the same as the lancer, mga 250 pesos lang yan.
