April 26th, 2009 09:47 AM #1say you're driving sa expressway at 3rd or 4th gear, puwede bang apakan konti yung brake ng wala ang clutch just to reduce speed?

definitely! brake talaga ang ginagamit para ma reduce and speed and not the clutch, pag ginawa mo sa hiway yan sunog ang clutch mo..
you know what if you are already planning of driving in hi way I suggest huwag muna, with that kind of question I don't think you are ready to drive sa hi way

kuts...kung new driver ka malaki ang diff ng city driving compared sa Hi-way. if you are planning po to drive sa hi-way dapat you have somebody with you na sanay na and ask him/her first kung ano ang DO's and Dont's.

highway--overtake at least 15kph more that the vehicle you are overtaking!
as long as di hirap makina mo, just brake, you dont need to downshift.
shift as fast as possible, wag mo babad paa mo sa clutch.

April 26th, 2009 03:29 PM #7Step on the clutch if you want to change gears or if your speed slows down to the point that the engine will stall. Otherwise, there's no need to. ;)
