daytime driving for me kapag ordinary working day, madilim kasi yung tint ko para sa tindi ng araw.
pero kapag long trips to our province gusto ko yung nightime na umagang umaga like 4 or 5am para no traffic at malamig hehe

daytime... mas confident ako mag drive because of greater road visibility... hirap ako sa gabi... medyo malabo na rin mata ko eh... madali na kong masilaw.

Daytime driving is the safest part of the day to drive for me. Kahit gitgitan at makiput ang kalye kayang kaya i-maneuver ang sasakyan. Mas madaling pumina sa araw. I usually travel to work at noontime so maluwag ang kalye. I drive home at nighttime but I more cautious driving by then. Me refractive error na rin kasi ang mata ko, eh.

During long trips, I prefer night time driving medyo relax not much traffic at di nakaka-stress.
It is also cooler so that means no AC, engine runs cooler and less stop and go = tipid sa gas.

Kapag long trip or especially kung dadaan sa zigzag road (ex Kennon or Marcos HW) i prefer at night kasi mas safe. Kita mo kasi yung headlight kung may kasalubong lalo na sa blind curves. Mas confident din ang overtake kapag alam mo madilim which means walang kasalubong.

the statistics all prove that nighttime driving is always more dangerous than daytime driving. besides the obvious visibility issues, there are the other problems like driver fatigue, drunkenness, headlight glare, etc. i think i read a study that also showed that your risk grew exponentially for long night time trips.
regarding headlights as a visibility aid, keep in mind that not all road hazards have headlights. the last time i drove at nighttime in the Philippines, i almost fell into a huge (unmarked!!) hole that was being excavated on the road :twak:
that may be, but we all got plastic, young and old. we asked the lto guy, "papel ba po, o...
