    Saw one being sold for less than P1M.

    Is it worth it? IMHO, it is still an eye catching car. Although the engine looks disappointing on paper...

    The new beatle, is really an eye catching car, if yun ang trip, go ka na but thats basically it. Im guessing yung beatle na yan would be the 1.6, and w/o the sunroof. my eval on it would be:
    Pro's
    1. Ang Kyut mo! minsan pagdala mu napapangiti mga tao sayo (seryoso to! )
    2. Malakas aircon
    3. Malaki ang foot space sa harap.
    Con's
    1. Medyo mahina nga ang engine, pero hindi mu naman cguro i-kakarera to diba? ganda ng tunog ng engine pala nito
    2. Masikip sa likod
    3.Mas masikip ang trunk
    4. Walang cd player at medyo mahirap palitan yung radio kasi "VOlks" brand sya at ang daming wires sa likod.
    5. Mababa sya, ilang besses na sumabit yung ilalim ko sa hump... Nakaka-iyak yung tunog
    Verdict: Expensive car, But made truly for the Volkswagen Collector,(Mga young at heart) Try for the 2nd hand LC's nalang

    my friend at work has one. she (yes, she - i haven't seen many new beetles driven by guys) is trading it in for the new turbo because the 1.6 is woefully underpowered.

    also, i wouldn't be able to get over the 'chick car' tag...i mean, the thing has a flower holder on the dash... ;)

    Yung new beetle nga ay para sa mahilig sa Beetle. It's not something everyone will appreciate especially for a daily driver.
