We are planning to purchase a bigger car(Model 2002 up)
becauseof our upcoming baby, we need a bigger car for daily routine, our choices was either starex, xuv crosswind, Vitara, or other suggested brands and model, our budget is (+, - P500t). but our concern was the following:
    1.fuel consumption?
    2.Durability and comfort?
    3. parts and services

Please help us to decide... we want to be sure that the purchase will be worth....

    thanks.....

    1. Crosswind (by far) or Adventure, even
    2.a Crosswind
    2.b Starex? Vitara?
    3.a Crosswind or Starex
3.b casa service on the Crosswind is too expensive. Suzuki has limited casas, and Hyundai? Not familiar with casa service.

I'd go with a Vitara, Starex or a compact SUV. Or maybe even a Revo. Our baby doesn't like the ride in the Crosswind (too rough/bouncy). But you should try it first, if you can get an XTO or XT that has a softer ride (some of the older Crosswinds ride softer), then maybe that's for you.

Maganda nga starex but I heard medyo malakas din sa fuel....???

How about sa mga may crosswind na XUV? ano ba status ng XUV nyo?
Ano ba difference ng XTO/Xtreme, at XUV?

    Tnx again....

i was in the same boat several years ago and these were mostly my concern except that what i got before was a new one..

my choices before were (i.e. not in any particular order of preference)

    1. starex
    2. adventure
    3. revo

after doing reasearch and several test drives with my wife & kids, we ended up getting the revo coz it has the highest marks in our chart. starex would have been our choice kaya lang mas mahal siya at that time at kapos sa budget. adventure on the other hand, just seemed a little behind in terms of space & comfort for us..

haven't considered SUVs back then because i had no off-roading intentions so i really don't need the extra features which i believe means extra cost in terms of mileage, parts & maintenance..

starex sana, but with your budget, you won't get a decent one.

try to look for a revo, it's the most comfortable among the AUVs.

From feedbacks from this forum, crosswind is supposed to be fuel efficent, reliable, durable, indestructible daw ang engine but medyo matagtag ang ride.

How much ba going price ng crosswind ngayon?

Need Suggestions po... (need bigger vehicle)
