guys help naman ang dalas kong namamatayan sa getz ko 1.1 (2 days old pa lang sha) 5 months na me nagdridrive ng toyota tamaraw FX (diesel) and Toyota Inova (diesel). This is my first time to drive a gas engine ganun ba tlaga ang getz pag d ka tumapak ng gasolina mamamatayan? kc from my previous experience specially the Inova kahit incline la ako problema.... Pinaadjust ko na rin ung clutch nung getz ko pero namamatayan pa rin ako.. ako ba dapat ang magadjust or may dapat pa akong iadjust sa getz ko? From full stop ba dapat maggasolina ng konti while releasing the clutch?

today I still experience stalling on gas. nasanay din ako sa diesel eh...

just remember, gas needs more reving than diesel.

ganun po ba sir... so if I am from a full stop I need to have an extra push on gas while releasing the clutch on the first gear? ganun po ba un sir? minsan kc I rev to high which IMO malakas sa gas..

baka masyado mababa ang idling...the engine is a small displacement engine so the torque is lower...pag mayload (A/C and engaged clutch) may tendecy itong mag-stall kung kulang sa power.

hopefully increasing the rpm by an extra 50 (say 750rpm gawin mong 800rpm) should do the trick.

I just drove kanina and again namatayan nanaman po ako.. sir regarding dun sa increasing the rpm by an extra 50, step on the gas pedal first to increase the rpm then release the clutch smoothly po ba?

ganito po ba sir? (from full stop)
1.) Step on the clutch pedal then shift to 1st gear
2.) Rev an extra 50 (still holding the clutch)
    3.) smoothly release the clutch
4.) step on the gas pedal ......

    or this?
1.) Step on the clutch pedal then shift to 1st gear
2.) Smoothly release the clutch at the same time having an extra push on the gas pedal until it gains power...

ung 2nd step po kc gnagawa ko e

I'll go for step 1. the first time i drove a gasoline engine its really a nightmare. every stops namamatayan ako ng engine. it's normal, because im used to diesel. sooner, you'll get used to it.

ok lang kahit 2nd step yung gawin mo. kelangan mo lang konti pa practice sa gas engine para malaman mo when and how much gas to feed when releasing the clutch.

need help lagi po akong namamatayan (noob)
