Finally my car reached its destination, Honda QC.

I was told by the service advisor (rey) that the chassis were damaged too. It formed a "C" already. It's hard to repair but can be done daw. However, he wants to declare it a total wreck.

Ang problema ko is that hindi ko pa alam yung 3rd-party-coverage nung nakabangga sa akin kung cash settlement ang mangyayari. Baka 100k lang pala si insurance tapos the rest dun sa nakabangga...eh mukhang di magbabayad ng malaki yun...

Do I need attorney ba pag lumabas na yung report ni honda? Bibigyan muna pala ako ng report ni Honda by Saturday or Monday...

here are the pix. dadalhin bukas sa honda quezon ave...malayan insurance pala yung dump truck...mga 350-380k nga yung value ng 98 CRV ko..pero love ko ito at ok naman yung ride kasi...

Hindi na maibabalik sa dati yan. Kung ipagagawa mo sa Honda, knowing their price, baka mas mahal o malapit na sa insured amount nyan.
Also maibalik man ng maayos, daming lalabas na problema dyan in the future.
My opinion is go for the cash settlement, use the money for a new or second-hand car or upgrade to the next model CRV. I think you can easily upgrade knowing kaya mong mag-maintain ng CRV, mahal kasi ang operating and maintenance costs nyan, lalo na kung laging sa casa pinapagawa.

i would suggest that you get representation so you wont have to stress about collection from the insured party.

the car should be declared totaled. not worth fixing

holy cow! looks like a total loss! adding to what mazdamazda mentioned, casa is often NOT the best for body repair. they usually get stuff like paintwork and panel alignment wrong... madalas halata na nabangga yung sasakyan at inayos kung sa casa. there are third party collision-repair specialists around who will do the fix at higher quality and for much lower prices than casas.
