murang kotse na may sira ok lang ba?

nakabili kami ng 2nd hand na kotse sa halagang 160k. (honda jazz / fit 2002 model) ok naman siya ng tinest drive, tahimik makina, maganda takbo. ang dineclare lang ng seller na problema is yung faded paint at sirang susian ng mga pinto. Long drive pauwi, lumabas ang mga sira, pinacheck sa mekaniko:

1. valve cover gasket
2. cv joints
3. manipis na rotor discs
4. maingay na compressor
5. namamatay aircon pag nag shift sa reverse
6. matunog na steering
7. may mahabang guhit na malalim sa windshield
8. shock mounts
9. may mga leaks sa rear seats kapag umuulan

Ang tanong ko po, acceptable pa ba ang presyo ng pagkabili namin para dun sa mga ipapagawa? halos aabutin daw ng 20k ang total ng parts at labor, wala pa yung sa repaint. gusto na kasi sana ibalik na lang sa pinag bilhan. salamat po sa mga sasagot!

what is the going second gand prices of Jazz ba? it seems too good to be true for 160k eh. dunno if you brought a mechanic or a competent friend when you bought the vehicle

if nireport mo agad sa seller yung mga issues eh there might be a chance na maibalik pa, pero don't get your hopes too high

ask for another mechanic's opinion, parang bitin sa 20k. ibabalik ko yan if I were you

180k to 200k po ang mga honda fit, nireport po namin agad yung issue na nasira pagkauwi (cv joint), pero ayaw makipag usap ng seller kasi maayos daw ng kinuha namin, inisip ko na lang baka nga dahil nalong drive eh bumigay lang yung cv joint. and nung pina check na sa mekaniko eh dun na lang nakita yung iba pang dapat palitan. ang kaso, wala na balak makipag usap si seller, dahil pinipilit nya na maayos daw yun ng kinuha namin.

Namamatay na aircon on reverse? As in pati fan namamatay?

Guhit sa windshield? Basag?

Suspension, brakes issues are normal for used cars...

dapat kasi bago mo binili eh pina check mo muna mabuti.para walang sisihan maski ako ang may ari hindi ako papayag na ibalik sa akin kasi nga tinest drive mo sigurado yan at ginusto mo bago mo bayaran at sigurado dika naman pinilit ng seller na bayaran mo ung tsikot niya.kaya kung ako sayo paayos mo nalang..

Wala ng habol sa seller yan. "As is where is" basis yan. Kaya hindi na nakikipag usap yun seller.

Charge to experience mo nalang sir, next time kapag bibili kayo preowned, make sure to test drive and bring your own mechanic.

sold price isnt that bad. it couldve been lower if you inspected before purchase and haggled.

repair price isnt bad also...

Di mo na masoli yan. Kung mura mo naman nakuha, atleast may allowance ka ipaayos. Paayos mo na lang. Pero subukan mo pa 2nd opinion para sure ka sa sira

if there is no written or verbal or even implied warranty, then it was an as-is-where-is purchase.
wala habol.

so, adding 20K to the 160K, makes 180K. isn't that just about the going rate for that model?
perhaps, you feel bad because you feel na na-isahan ka.
but if you look at it from the money angle... it's not really bad.
i have heard of worse scenarios, from "later-model" cars.
