napanood ko yun ultimate cars(rallye cars). about 4yrs ago lng ksi ako nahilig sa rallye at ang mga kilala ko lng ay evlolution at subaru aside from skoda, citroen, peugeot, ford etc ---di ko akalain na may mga magagaling pa sa kanila dat won races many many years ago. sa mga matagal na nahilig manood ng rallye baka naaalala nyo ito. here is the ranking according to the show

No. 5----Ford RS(something): i have nothing much to say about this car di ko ksi nasimulan yun palabas

NO.4----Mitsubishi Evolution: it is the cheapest(their standards of cors) and dullest(???) looking car but nevertheless is packed with a lot of muscle. turbocharged performance at a not so turbocharged price.

No.3----Subaru Impreza: modern-day rallye car, electronically engineered for improved traction in any road condition--- computer-controlled AWD machine

NO.2---Stratto: italian stallion streetcar turned rallye car. all-weather and all-terrain performer.

No.1---Audi Quattro: this one sets the standards by which all rallye cars are measured against. 1st to use turbocharged engine and first to use suv-type(tama ba?) platform. it is highly responsive and has superb handling. won wrc championship 3 in a row. this car is so good that it had a female driver. although it had a mechanically-awkward design it, nevertheless, proved itself to be the fiercest rallye car on the track during its time. di ko akalain na yun present day audi A4 quattro has a long history pala.

yup maganda yun lancer box type yan medyo naabutan ko yan---kotse kotsehan pa laruan ko nun . siguro panahon pa ng tatay ko itong stratto at quattro matanong nga kng naaalala pa nya---luma na ksi yun mga video clips na pinakita them in action.

wrong spelling pa pla me stratos pala hindi stratto ---ngayong ko lng talaga narinig to ksi. so 2 klase yun lancia integrale at lancia stratos from the same manufacturer?

atsaka may groupings pa pala yan. yun ngayon ata isa lang ba group nyan ---i mean ng mga kotse. paano yun groupings sa displacement binabatay?

I saw that particular episode last Thursday. The way I understood it, the Audi Quattro was the first to put 4WD technology into a car... they lightened the parts para di mabigat, then the turbo... Dati daw kasi puro mga SUV/Truck ang 4WD.

I missed a few episodes... Sana magkaron ng marathon ulit.

Yep. Stratos and Ingegrala are from Lancia. Ang Fiat at Lancia, i-isa ang design and production group. Lancia has been producing.

Yung Group B, na-form nung 1980's. It was for manufacturers who wanted to show-off their engineering capabilities. 'Yung mga Group B cars have 500+hp under the hood, na naka-4WD at, yung iba, may kevlar body frame. I think the most wicked Group B rally car was the Lancia Delta S4: imagine, 01-100kmh in 2.25 seconds. 'Sa gravel roads yun ha. Group B ended in 1986 due largely to the deaths of a driver and a navigator at the Tour de Corsa (or is it Corse?) rally.
