Those are "rumble strips". Yah, they're to remind you to slow down.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

This is my theory din. Kung alam mo namang nandun sila, I don't see why you'll slow down. Pero pag inaantok ka at nadaanan mo to... Wake up call for sure!

Question lang is can this do any damage to our cars, pag dinaanan natin na let's say running at 80-100 kph?

I beleive this is more of a safety precautions to driving than hazard. this are common on all expressway in other country.

...hehe korny!...

    * the_noise: Very minimal lang naman yung dadaanan mo dun ehh, so lesser impact into your cars' suspension,.. the faster you go,.. the lesser the suspension will feel it,.. so tolerable lang yung, wag lang lubak syempre! Hypothetically, kung kilome-kilometro siguro ang layo nung strips, then everyday mong dinadaanan, tapos back and forth pa, pedeng medeteriorate then possible masira palage yung suspension mo. Simple as that!
