How long did you wait from reserving your car to actual delivery? When I bought my Nissan, it took them 3 days. Now, I'm going on 3 weeks for my Honda, and still the unit is at the Batangas Pier waiting for BOC signatures.

For my nissan wala namang waiting period, sila yung nanghintay sa decision namin.

For my dad's 2nd Gen Honda CRV, we waited around 3-1/2 months before our unit came out... bummer.

Three weeks. It would have taken longer kung hindi ko pa sinabi na naiinis na ako.

The sales agent was trying all sorts of tactics to convince me to get another color rather than the one I chose. Sabi ko, "I cannot compromise my personal taste. Either you give it to me in the color that I want, or I pull out my reservation fee and consider another brand." Syempre nataranta yung dealership, since I was paying in cash.

Turns out that there was one unit, in the color that I wanted, that was bound for Cebu. Sa tulong ng kapitbahay namin na taga-planta, the unit was blocked off and given to me instead. Hindi ko pina-deliver; we drove it home from the dealership.

2 weeks for the Lynx RS. That was on consignment from the factory as we didn't want the showroom unit and the last two were reserved already. But it did come when they said it would.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Sa 2000 Civic, 2 days coz they have to prep it up.

Sa 2001 MDX, 1 month dahil may waiting time. Swerte pa ako dahil yung iba 3 months ang waiting time.

Sa 2002 CR-V, 1 day lang to add the freebies I haggled for.

Sadly, I already disposed all of them cars. Ayaw ko na nang may month car payments..... ang hirap pala at ang sarap pala ng walang monthly car payments.

i have no patience for waiting...usually i take delivery the same day i decide to buy a car, and pick one off the lot. i did this with two civics and an mr2 turbo. with my 330ci, i signed all the paperwork, signed the checks....and then the stupid salesman told me they had to hold it over the weekend to do a pre-purchase inspection!!! :seeth: it turns out the car had literally gotten off the truck an hour before, so they had to do all the minor assembly and safety stuff...but at least no idiots abused it on test drives before i bought it, hehe
