tama si ssaloon. also 95-96 lancer itlogs as well as 97 pizza el and gl's go for that price.
might wait for a newly lynx.
my brother in law bought a 2000 ford lynx for only 260T
Nissan LEC/PS goes for less than that price. Ride in comfort since it has one of the coldest aircon in town.
Box Type na Pajero! Minsan meron....Tapos sali ka na sa Off Road Groups he he

b sure to check na Calsonic ung aircon nya shld u go looking for Nissans
Kung talagang hanggang 200K lang budget mo, I've been seeing some 94 or 95 Lancer GLXi's (itlogs) that go for 200K.
Sayang nahuli ka, yung isang opismate ko '95 GLXi Lancer binenta nya for 195K, ganda pa, bone stock, bumili kasi ng Adventure.![]()
for a 200k budget you can buy:
92-95 civic eg(1.6 esi, 1.5 lx, or 1.2 hatchback)
a few 96-98 civic ek (1.5 lxi , 1.6 vti)
97-99 sx8 city (1.3 lxi)
corolla ae101 (1.6 gli, 1.3 xe , 1.3 xl)
ae111 (1.3 xe, 1.3 xl, 1.3 le)
lancer (itlog) -(1.6 glxi, 1.5 gli, 1.3 el) -(pizza) -(1.3 el , 1.5 gl)
sentra series 2 ( 1.6 super saloon, 1.4 jx, 1.3 lec)
series 3 ( 1.6 super saloon, 1.4 ex saloon)
mazda 323 ( 1.6 glxi, 1.6 gli, 1.3 lx)
ford lynx (1st gen- 1.6 ghia, 1.6 gsi)
ano pa ba, yun lang natandaan ko eh. dagdagan ko na lang later.
i think for that price newest car you can get is a mazda 323 2nd gen (1997 or so). all power ka pa. it's not a bad car, i know several people with one, and the parts price is reasonable.
that, or an AE101. unfortunately for that price you probably will get a 1.3XL or 1.3XE -- no-power ka! (except power steering on one of them) wala masyado akong nakitang GLi na AE101 for <200k.

this is a very good resource to do your shopping.I used it to do research so you know the price range of the car you want. You can cut-and-paste from IE to Excel, and do your math. If you see a car whose price is way too far from the average, be very suspicious...
BTW for that price you can also get a 1992 Corona, or 93-95 Altima or Mazda 626. I got my 626 for 160k (although it has a pernicious though minor engine problem which will probably cost me a lot of money to get rid of..)
yup... you can get a mazda 323 gen2.5 (97 and up) for that budget if you look really hard. there are some aesthetic differences between the gen2.5 and gen2. first is the signal lamps which is already integrated in the headlight assembly. the badge is already the "crane".Originally posted by orly_andico

personally i like the styling of the gen2 more as the round curves looks more appealing to me (biased ba?). for the gen2 the "glx" has the highest trim level. for the gen2.5 it is called the "glxi". it has foglights, 4W ABS, 10 disc cd changer, 3rd brake light, power everything (cept antenna), 6 way adjustable driver's seat, 60/40 split rear seats.
parts price is reasonable and isn't hard to find. mileage is around 7-8 km/L for the manual and around 5-6 for the matic (city driving).
plus you get the chance to join one of the country's best automotive groups... :D
hahahahahahaha!!i get 5-6.5km/L (manual) on the 626 in-city, and about 10km/L highway.
take that over to the honda club :Dplus you get the chance to join one of the country's best automotive groups...
i would beg to disagree... but posting my reasons would trigger a flame war... hahaha...Originally posted by orly_andico
