I was looking at the pictures and it was one of those convered 4WD Toyota vans.
May relasyon kaya ang pagiging converted not to the accident itself?

ang latest kong nakita is van rin, converted as usual, lost control... slammed into a post
its pretty safe to conclude that there is a relation with being a converted vehicle to the accident itself.
hahaha.....
(We used to have 2 of these)
syet, we're planning to buy pa naman a 2-dr pajero sa subic! hwag nalang ata.
if its the delica.. mataas yan.. 4wd, lifted van with A/T tires....
EDIT PART:
my bad.. toyota vans pala.. ehehhe
I think it was a toyota. because i was looking at the mags and it resembled the one i see in school and the van was a toyota town ace or Liteace.
It says in one of the news papare that the driver fell a sleep ithink?
Mahirap yatang maniwala na nakatulog ang driver,
mostly aantukin ka sa straights, but not on curves.
We dont know what really happend, sabi nga sa news na iaantok ang driver.
There are good and lemon convertions.
Sa mga gusto ng auction or converted cars, if you want to be sure have it converted using all original parts, kung pang pajero pang pajero dapat.
Yung mga nag coconvert sa subic mostly use parts what ever is available at match, hindi sila brand specific, like toyota rack & pinion on a honda, Isuzu steering box on Pajero.
Since you all know na converted, its better to have it checked by your mechanic or if you buy 1 bring it back to its original LHD spec.
Ang maganda lang medyo mura nga naman sila, kung iisipin mo maintained naman ng mga hapon kotse nila since mas strict ang car inspections sa japan to have it registered.
Ako lahat ng units binebenta ko brand specific and all brake lines that need to be converted are all replaced.
nonie - Ang problema mo is the drivers of the car, not the car it self.
The way I see it 60% driver error, 20% caused by another motorist (ikaw binangga) 10% freak (iniwasan ang lubak, bato, tumatawid, may nakitang white lady, etc.) and 10% vehicle/part failure.
