that's pretty amazing! 138hp to 187hp!! :P
diba gasoline-powered din yung leafblower? there's an "electric supercharger" which is similar, but only kicks in at WOT and only gives ~5hp of gain.

The only working electric supercharger is the Thomas Knight unit... a triple electric motor system, with re-wound cores producing about 15hp, and good for bursts of 50-75hp for about 15 seconds. Takes a while to recharge, though, so it's more like nitrous boost than anything else.
This works in much the same way, I guess. If you had access to some small motors, you could probably work out a way to give yourself some 10-15 hp... but it would be messy.
