    ANO TO??

Pan Fil Inter Trade Newsletter- The China leader for automobile-GEELY, that took Detroit, USA by storm has now landed in the Philippine soil on 14June 2007.The local partner, Pan Fil Inter Trade Co. Inc.got the Exclusive Agreement of Distribution/Service within the Philippine Territory in a General Agreement with Franchise Rights signed by its Director(China), Chung Lung Wu(Albert Wu) and partner Geely International Corporation last 16 April 2007 in Shanghai China.

The local partner, Pan Fil Inter Trade Co. Inc choose the Subic Bay Freeport Zone as its entry point because of its strategic location and efficiency of government personnel handling the facility. Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Bureau of Customs and the Land Transportation Office are all to be commended for facilitating the entry of Geely Automobile in the Philippines. The Liberalization of Trade being espoused by no less than President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in her Trade Missions in China and the strong peso are also the reason for the corporate decision of its local partner to venture in the industry.

For years now, Geely has been exported in over 50 countries in Africa, the Middle East,Central America and South America. Joycelin Torres Rodriguez, President and CEO of its local partner Pan Fil shares the view of Director Wu,"by making GEELY available to the Filipinos, we are giving hope to every Filipino who dreams of owning his first new car.Filipinos are known to be dreamers....now owning a new car is no longer a dream but a reality!"

Bringing two models in the Territory, CK and MR are to be sold in the market at around P450,000($9574) and P350,000($7446) respectively. With the entry of this cars in the market it will be the most affordable car to be launched in the Philippines in the recent years. Chairman Maricel V. Wu and Marketing Director Ruth D. Roque strongly believe that Geely will have a strong impact and will enjoy a good market share in the Philippines since Filipinos are known to be good price hunters.Dealers are lining up waiting to be accredited believing in the quality of the car and the bigger market it may have due to its reasonable price.

With a very good car exported by Geely International Corporation in countries throughout the world, its advent in the Philippine Market is highly appreciated.

    Peace! One!

this might be good in the long run as it will probably force the major car manufaturers to bring down their prices, or at least have more promos.

time for Toyota, Honda, Nissan , Mitsubishi, Mazda in the Philippines to be more realistic with their pricing..

but on 2nd thought.. the government should remove implement a law first to remove taxes on small cars..

if the government could perhaps remove taxes on small budget cars, you wouldn't see a family of four with 2 kids and wife, riding altogether in a motorcycle..

i guess they should start with removing taxes first.. and then bring in Tata's $2500 car here too!
