anong magazine yan? car and driver had the same #1 and #2 (the camry was fourth, the passat 1.8T was third) in its last 4-cylinder family car test...

everyone loves the accord hehe :D

    slip-slick,

the comparo is of mainstream family sedans in america, in the $20,000 to $25,000 range most probably. the premium euro marques don't compete here hehe

the cars compared were all v6's, and $18-25K price. i think the criteria were performance, price, features, personal(subjective) score from the raters and 23-pt eval like cupholders, trunk, interior noice, quality, etc among others.

to JASON,the nissan cefiro and USA's infiniti I35 are very identical in specifications and looks. i'm 99.9% certain they're 1 and the same cars. the infiniti(luxury brand of nissan like toyota=lexus, honda=acura, VW=audi) though has a more potent engine 3.5L v6 255 horsepower while the cefiro has 2.0L 165-hp(right?).

    nissan cefiro(philippines)

    infiniti I35 (USA)

nung di pa lumalabas yung present cefiro natin, may nakikita ako sa gray market dealerships na cefiro. sabi ng dealer friend ko, equipped ito with a 3.0L V6 engine churning out around 200-220hp.

"family car" in the US means a M sized body and a price near $20K.

in the philippines, "family car" means your 1.6L car.
