When the weather is really hot I make it a point to open my hood when I get home. Our garage is in front of the maids room so I need to let the heat escape quickly. I also have a problem with cats, when the engine is cool, cats refrain from hanging out on the car's hood.

Last week, they even had *** on the hood of my car leaving a lot of deep scratches :mad2:.

i always do that every night. pero sa office ndi kasi nasa kalsada kasi hehehe
para matanggal yung heat ng mas mabilis since pataas ang akyat ng singaw ng init kaya
binibigyan ko ng way para maalis sila. pero kapag tatakpan na isasara na namen

pag normal lang.. water temp is around 90-100 degree.. pag hatawan na, minsan umaabot ng 105-110 degrees (where the fans kick in and cools down to around 95). same with oil temp, from normal of around 90 degrees, goes to 100 or even 110 degrees.

actually, by the time the car is in the garage, its more or less around 90-100 degrees. but gusto ko lang malabas yun init so that those plastic parts dont get heat up too much.

same with me. pagdating kasi sa bahay gabi na dapat lumamig agad ang engine para makumutan bago matulog, yung garage kasi 1 sasakyan lang kaya icover ng roof so yung isang sasakyan lang namin ang covered, yung car ko under the open sky at hamog kaya kailangang kumutan. pero ginagawa ko lang to pag minamadali ko lumamig, kung may time naman na lumamig ang engine bago kumutan, hindi ko na binubuksan ang hood
