2. pwede bang imodify and isang ride to make it distributorless?
3. do you need special kinds of wires and sparkplugs?
4. what cars have these? so far APV pa lang ang nakikita ko

mas direkta ang daloy ng kuryente to the plugs, less wear (walang rotor) etc. etc.
afaik you can't modify it kasi madaming sensors and circuits yan. basically from mechanical device to electrical device ang convertion.
wala nang wires ang distributorless
civic 2k1s, crvs, vios, bukas ka ng makina ng gas engines tapos walang high tension wire.
yung mga luma konti like lancers, semi sya...

distributor less na yung lancer pizza na 1.6... it has 2 igniter coils mounted directly sa plug 1 & 3 then a short ht wire conects it to the 2 & 4 plug...
cant modify a regular engine to this set up kasi controled by the ECU yung igniter.

Meron conversion kit under the brand PETRONIX which converts the ignition system into one w/o distributor. Application of PETRONIX are for American V8's only.
I believe the MSD brand also has a conversion kit but only also applies to american V8's.

pwede rin ba i-tune (advance/delay) yung distributor-less? Ford lynx nga pala is D-less na - tawag nila is DLIS (parang ulam yata no? he he).

yung sa lancer (mx 02) wala na adjustment ng spark advance kasi nga electronic na siya. automatic din siya nag-adjust depende sa engine speed and octane rating ng gasoline na gamit. recommended is 94 octane pero ok lang gumamit ng lower octane gas kasi naga-adjust yung spark advance automatically. need mo lang nga i-reset pag bumalik ka na sa 94 octane or better gasoline (may reset button dun sa engine bay, tabi ng wiper motor).
as an aside, in the olden days, anyone who does not move 'ala luksa during Holy Week, especially...
