October 15th, 2005 01:32 AM #54Not sure if I'll buy cars Chinese-brand cars in the near future.
I won't know if I'll feel comfortable buying cars from a communist country.
Really don't know.

i think we should encourage cars like these, in time mag-iimprove din yan quality coz of the demand. patok na patok sa mga starting families or small families. and the greatest benefit, mabawasan na yun demand sa inefficient public transport like tricycles & jeepneys. imagine papunta ka palang ng main sakayan gastos ka na ng 10-15 pesos sa tricycle.
sana yun other rich fil-chinese traders mag-pasok din dito ng kani-kanilang version ng geely 1.0 para lalo pa mag-improve ang quality coz of competition.

I'd say there's still room for improvement.lots of it actually. at least China have been able to start their own brand. Sana tayo narin sumunod (yung original ha).

'mabuhay' ang pangalan ;-)
anyways..madami dyan sa china na mas reputable ang brand ewan ko lang ba ung bakit ito ang naipasok nila...i think that they should just copy the korean car industry and how they started.

IMO it's too expensive! second-hand is a far better option. i personally do not want to support car companies which copy whole cars from other brands.
try http://paultan.org/archives/2004/12/05/china-pirates/
or just search "chinese copycat cars" in google. peace.

give china automakers a few more years perhaps 5-10yrs, baka magulat kayo sa improvement hehe. but this geely really sucks!
If you will drive mostly in the metro, go automatic because of the stop-and-go traffic. If mostly...
