sadly though, the Corolla's pix is not a photo-chopped one but taken by a camera fm. the real deal. the good news though is the current Generation Toyota Corolla also called Altis in Ph is better looking than the JDM version. so its possible they will bring a "pogier version"

The CX-7 is the platform mate of the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX.

They are derived from the Ford Fusion's CD3 platform, which is an enlarged and updated version of the current Mazda 6's GG platform (also related to the all-new Mazda MPV's LY platform)

    Mazda CX-7

The CX-7 rides on a 108 in(2750 mm) wheelbase while the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX ride on a slightly longer 111.2 in(2824 mm) wheelbase.

In short, the CX-7 is basically an SUV equivalent of the Mazda 6.
    For comparison:
    Mazda 3 2.0R wheelbase: 103.9 in(2640 mm), Length: 178.3 in(4529 mm)
    Mazda 6 wheelbase: 105.3 in(2675 mm), Length: 183.9 in(4670 mm)
    Mazda CX-7 wheelbase: 108 in(2750 mm), Length: 184in(4675 mm)

Ummm. OT here, AG4. But, can you actually read Japanese, Kanji, or whatever they call the language that magazine is written in? Just wondering.

Based on the 6..... The commercials sure made the CX7 look smaller. Anyway, the Ford and Lincoln sisters don't quite have the appeal of the Mazda version. But, if they'll have the same top-end 244hp turbo 4, the looks can be forgiven....

the Language is japanese. and the written form of Japanese has three kinds. Kanji (aka Chinese characters) are the pictograms of those characters with meaning in them. the next two are the hiragana & katakana are the characters used to syllabic characters. the latter to write words of foreign origin. like the word "computer" will in katakana and read as "konpyuta".
