i just got a new copy of the Popular Japanese magazine "Best Car..." and saw raw images of the next full model change on a number of cars we'd all be interested in. sorry i don't have a scanner so i just took some foto's using my Digicam. i hope its clear enough...

if u like what u see better save up on that for next year's release. i think most of it will find its way into the tiny PH market. well probably not for the Civic Type R...

[still looks pathetically similar to the new one? the bulbuos front head lamp certainly is familiar given the current JDM Rolla looks like it, but it has a slightly nicer tough with the projector inside. oh and the bumper cut is nice. but still looks like they maintained 4lug bolts on d wheels. whereas Mazda 3 and 2006 Civic already has 5.... and the power is not upto par with the latters 140hp. but torque is slightly higher though. Corolla 17.9 vs. Civic 17.7kgm
    2007 Corolla Sedan

    2007 Corolla Wagon

    2007 Corolla Hatch (Euro only?)

    2007 Subaru Impezza STi

    2007 Mazda Atenza (aka Mazda6).

2007 Mazda Demio (aka Mazda 2)

    2007 Nissan X-Trail

    2007 Honda Civic TypeR

2007 Honda Fit (yes a full model change- well its about time!)

Its just a poorly done photo illustration(chop), lets just hope that the real thing looks better than that.

I beleive those vehicles in the list are for the 2008 model year which means they will be launched sometime next year.
The CX-7 goes on sale this year as a 2007 model.

Check out the rear door and rear wheel openings, the artist could have at least made the front quarter view consistent with the rear quarter view renderings....
Its not clear also if Subaru will retain the 3-part grill of the current 2006 Impreza and Tribeca, because the new models like the facelifted R2 ditched the 3-part grill and replaced it with a 1-piece grill, the facelifted 2007 Legacy also sticks to a 1-piece grill same goes for the new Subaru Stella kei car.

Again, most of the CG chops are done by artists, most of the renderings, specially the older ones are not accurate.

kasi the Fit (aka Jazz) is supposed to be a very good model and has already sold millions fm. introduction.... so changing the styling dramatically may be disastrous. pero at least i like the bulging fender and new bumper. di na masyadong chick car ang dating....ha ha.

    check my previous post...

The CX7 is a 5-seater and costs much less than the Murano in the US, while the CX9 which is the CX-7's bigger 7-seater brother costs about as much as the smaller Murano. Better value for money?

Again, these photoshop edited images of modified concept cars and chop-chop vehicles with parts from different current models are not accurate.

So far, I think the most accurate photos are that of the Corolla sedan and Corolla station wagon.

From the CX7 commercials I've seen so far in the Speed Channel, the CX7 didn't look much bigger than a Mazda 3. It sits higher and has a higher roofline. But the wheelbase almost looks like it's derived out of the 3:

The CX-7 is the platform mate of the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX.

They are derived from the Ford Fusion's CD3 platform, which is an enlarged and updated version of the current Mazda 6's GG platform (also related to the all-new Mazda MPV's LY platform)

    Mazda CX-7

The CX-7 rides on a 108 in(2750 mm) wheelbase while the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX ride on a slightly longer 111.2 in(2824 mm) wheelbase.

In short, the CX-7 is basically an SUV equivalent of the Mazda 6.
    For comparison:
    Mazda 3 2.0R wheelbase: 103.9 in(2640 mm), Length: 178.3 in(4529 mm)
    Mazda 6 wheelbase: 105.3 in(2675 mm), Length: 183.9 in(4670 mm)
    Mazda CX-7 wheelbase: 108 in(2750 mm), Length: 184in(4675 mm)

Parang ang saya ng Civic Type-R Sedan.

They retain the turn signal mirrors while improving the grille at the same time.

    Looks tempting

i know very aggressive ang dating. and the engine specs hanep. Power: 300bhp. and torque : 45kg-m (325lb-ft). i wonder what can Subaru to raise the ante in terms of drive train technology. hanggang ngayon ala pa din cla panapat sa AYC ng Evo. the Drivers Control Diff is same as Evo's ACD ....

the EvoX though looks too futuristic for me ....
