Cars that defined an era...

In the country almost called Maharlika........in the eyes of the 4-wheel road runners, the last 50 years was defined by the following:

1950s - the Willys Jeep.

1960s - the Volkswagon Beetle.

1970s - the Ford Escort.

1980s - the Mitsubishi Lancer.

early 1990s - the Toyota Corolla.

late 1990s - the Honda Civic.

early 2000s - the Toyota Vios.

Why go back only 50 years, when you can go much farther into the past?

I think that somehow the car that really defined the 1900-10s era is the Ford Model T.
It brought the transpo to mass consumption. Of course, after having it accessible to people made it possible for the automobile industry to evolve into what it is right now.

i didn't grow up in the philippines so we might have different ideas...plus i didn't live before the 70's so wag na muna yun

late 70's - american muscle like the challenger, camaro, chevelle, and GTO
80's - BMW E30 and Porsche 911
90's - Japanese performance - Toyota Supra, Mitsu 3000GT, Nissan 300zx, Nissan Skyline and Honda NSX at the top end...Toyota MR2 and Mitsu Eclipse for us can't affords :D (btw this was also the beginning of the rice era :lol: )
00's - the big SUV - Suburbans, Escalades, Hummers. also the beginning of the bling era (not sure if i hate this more or the rice era :rofl01: ) with big body Benzes, Bimmers and 300C's
