So if anyone knows of a mustang, charger, cuda or 69 camaro that's for sale, would appreciate letting me know. Thanks.

The key is to scout something running but still cheap. As such, try the outlying provinces particularly north of metro manila (pampanga and bulacan). Also try scounting in davao, bacolod and iloilo.

If you're in a hurry, just send a PM to Turbo. He can help you source one.

given the high cost of fuel nowadays, vintage classic muscle cars are most likely to be relegated to be weekend cars, car show cars, or club fun run cars

pero tama si Turbo, a well tuned well maintained muscle car can give you 6-9 in the highway...

One thing, if you want to own a Muscle car, do not complain of gas mileage. It is a given, but mind you, my Benz 109E 2.3 consumes more gas than my Camaro.

Furthermore, it is gasoline that makes power. the more fuel you burn, the greater the power. But you must keep your car in the best condition to reach maximum efficiency or else you will just be wasting fuel.

You should experience the feel the accelertion of a well-tuned V8, it is excillarating. But it is not the only thing that matters, getting thumbs up response from the young crowd and the old crowd is the real ego booster, that is what we get when we ressurect these cars.

Muscle cars prices are on the rise all over the world. Most are into the $30k ranges and those are not the show cars!!!

Funny, it is the first time I heard of classic thefts in Bulacan.

Could be the Bote-Bakal people thinking they are junks.

The agents, they are a given, if they can fool you, they sure will try.

So you have to know your cars!!

let's just say there was this car someone tried to sell me...won't disclose who or where in bulacan and when i asked for papers he said nawala. further investigation revealed kaya pala wala kotse ng iba yun. diba parang theft na rin yun. the original owner had not seen the car in almost a decade and it was indeed stolen pala from under his nose...then there is also the rumored story of the couple who took someone's "K" code mustang from the hapless victim's own garage...

yup...saw a hemi charger and a 69 427 vette in visayas. used to be campaigned during glory days of the camwreckers, hotrodders, et al. they were with their first owners and in garages waiting for an intrepid restorer.

A friend just towed away a 440/RT 70 Challenger last Monday on my tip. I was keeping the car for myself, but I cannot get the owner to sell. Luckily, my friend who is also into Muscle Cars, is realted to owner. So he was able to get the car for himself. Sayang, it was the only car I need to complete my collection. Pero ok lang, atleast it will stay here in the Philippines and the owner mite let me use it, hehehe.

Last car he got from me was a 72 440 Challenger.

Gosh, how I wish I will have a MOPAR in my garage.

    Hi Sirs!

    i just got a 1965 fastback cloned into a gt350.

im still in the exploring stage trying to figure out what the heck the former ownder did to her.

as far as i can tell, its been resto-modded with an offy intake manifold. different headers and lord knows what else.

there are also three switches underneath the dash and i have NO idea what they do cant find a NOS bottle so at least that rules that one out.

i know it needs some work to get it into a nice condition but it is in running condition.

im based in makati and wouldnt mind meeting somewhere nearby if either or both of you are in the neighborhood. i'd love to hear what you think as well as know about the care and feeding for such a hot rod.

i'd take it to bulacan but im noooot quite sure if can make it back
