Ok yan, lowest price ng ganyan nagayon ay 700K, going up as the condition gets better.

Meron dito sa Manila, 1979, kalas-kalas, no engine and tranny ang asking 380K pa.

Will wait for any development on the 69.

Hehehe.

pwede ipa-convert yung clutch into hydraulic di ba? Meron conversion kits available - Ron Morris at yung McLeod.

Nope, the pressure plate of the Muncie has 12 springs as opposed to the modern day diapragm design. Even the hydraulic conversion will fail. It was designed to handle the tremendous torque of the HO Chevy engines at racing conditions and not stop and go traffiic.

The wraps may work. But Hooker side pipes are designed to show off their chrome finish, so wrapping may defeat its purpose. That is how Americans sacrifice themselves to make their ride fulfil function and form.

No, not exhaust wraps, but heat shield/insulation that is installed in the flooring. Used it in my E30M3 and old pajero and it works.

Hey, thanks Dindo. I will take note of that. Jack's Eleanor(the 460 with eaton supercharger and nitrous) will surely need it. I am doing a 3" body huggiing exhaust pipe for it.

    Thanks again.

First of all, welcome to Tsikot!

On your query, can you please specify (aside from year) camaro specs you want?

In the mid-to-late 60's the local Yutivo company brought in Camaro's with an inline 6 engine for local sales. There are a lot of these going around in the nearby provinces like Pampanga and Bulacan (PM Turbo).

V8's are a different matter. Its very difficult to source a good old (68-69) V8 camaro. The rarest of the V8 camaros are the Yenko version (high performance big block 427 V8 and limited production run).

Other available V8's you can source "sporadically" in the provinces are the following:

    - RS Camaro ('67-69)
    - SS Coupe and Convertible (67-69)
    - Z-28 Cross Ram with 302 c.i. engine ('69)

The '60s Camaros are the most desired though! You can start by visiting Turbo a.k.a. Deo Concepcion at his muscle car garage in Bocaue Bulacan. He has a souped up '74 Z-28 parked there.

Stay away from the 67 Tbird, it is not a Muscle car. Just let go of a 68 Cougar for only 70k.

I have two 68 Camaros coming in in a week.

Parts, especially concourse quality, are abundant in the U.S.!

The MACH 1 being sold by turbo at Php 175 thousand is already an excellent buy. The 351 cleveland engine is a very good engine with a lot of aftermarket options (cylinder heads, pistons, etc...) to increase power.

The Mach1 is still with me and is rnning and registered. It now has a 4 Barrel Autolite carb and it is newly overhauled. Parts are plenty anf cheap compared no newer Japanese cars. Pretty impressive when viewed personally.

As for the cars of 2Fast, 2 Furious:
    1. 69 Yenko Camaro. If it is a true Yenko, it must have the high compression 427 engine rated t 425hp. and a 4 speed Muncie M21 rock crusher transmission.
Yenko is a tuning house not much unlike AMG of benz.

    1. The Orange is a 70 Dodge Hemi Challenger, if it is a true Hemi(the close up pf the engine bay only shows a 383 wedge) as they said in the movie, it must have close to 500hp. This car is very expensive, $80k on a beat up example.
