I won't be surprised. Those cars are pushed to their limits by the owners because of the claimed top speed records. I guess you could say the owner has done his job, or rather, overdid it.

the idiot driver was doing around 160 kph in pouring rain when it went out of control... it spun three times hitting a vauxhall astra with a seven months pregnant woman inside (the woman was brought to a hospital but she's ok), before crashing into the trees. the insurance assessors don't know yet if it can be repaired, pero if it's repairable i'm sure the owner will be looking at an enormous bill!

It wasn't the owner driving. Current evidence from eyewitnesses suggest that it was his younger brother, and that the "Kuya" is now well and truly pissed off at the guy. One week old pa lang yung tsikot mo... wrecked na ng kapatid mo? Damn. That guy needs his license taken away. Permanently.

The insurance company has written the car off completely. They can't even estimate how much repair will cost.
