pros...mas kasya ang b18 sa EK sir, newer body kaya less maintenance/repairs to prep for race specs.

pero pag sinalpak mo naman ang b18 sa EG hatch, hanep yung power to weight ratio mo, kaso daming babaguhin sa engine bay to accomodate that huge engine!

i think parts wouldn't be an issue kasi honda yan and readily available ang aftermarket support. if i were to choose, EK SiR nalang kasi pwede mong i-daily drive din yan tapos pwede ka pa magsakay ng 2 people sa likod comfortably. but that's just me, bro ;)

yes i do agree to what sir ssaloon said.

honestly, it depends on what you need / lifestyle and of course the most important one, budget.

plus, the engine of the SiR is 1.6L DOHC as compared to that of hatch (considering that it was still in stock condition).

    just an opinion. :D

b18c5 hmmm..

and a type R engine would cost around 350k (engine, transmission, brakes, plus a couple of bolt-ons and labor)

i'm no drag enthusiast so hatchback is more adaptable for my family use:
    pros:
    more luggage space
    luggage accessibility inside the car
    cons:
smelly cargoes can seep in and sticking odors inside

    solution:

seal tight your smelly loads for longer trips..
