Sorry guys but I really have to ask this. This may sound stupid pero nde ko talaga alam meaning ng 1.3 or 1.8 na spec ng engine sa car.
Sabi nila, the higher the value, mas mabilis daw yung speed.
Can somebody give a explanation what this means? Sana nde masyado technical yung explanation.
Thanks!

engine displacement siya, or the size ng engine. of course, a higher value means a bigger engine, which usually equates to more power.

yung next two digits ay displacement ng makina. 25 (2.5 Liters), 28 (2.8 Liters), 30 (3.0 Liters), etc.
yung letra sa huli ay simbolo ng trim ng kotse. ci (2-door coupe version), xi or i (4 door sedan/wagon)
sa Lexus naman, mayroon silang mga modelo na IS300, IS250, IS350, GS300, GS430, etc...
IS o GS ay model line up. yung tatlong numero ay displacement ng makina. halimbawa 300 ay 3.0 L, 250 ay 2.5 L, 350 ay 3.5 L, etc...
**edit**
sorry na miss-understood ko yung question. yung spec pala ang tinatanong mo na nakasulat sa makina. tama si kapatid na nugundam93. displacement ng makina.

Agree, total displacement of all the cylinders in the engine (tama po ba?). Usually, the larger the displacement, the more powerful the engine which more or less translates to a faster car.

But large displacement does not always equate to larger power so better check the actual power rating of the vehicle (measured in hp, bhp, kw, PS, etc.).
