    Galing ako ng CATS kahapon...sa May or June daw may parating sila ng 5 units...2.5M-2.6M ata...hmm Z4?....hehehe

    IMO...parang pangit yung "nose" na (ala SLR).

    More powerful than its predecessor, the second-generation SLK two-seat roadster will make its world debut in March 2004 at the Geneva motor show. For the U.S., the SLK—sporting a design inspired by McLaren’s Formula One race cars—will be available with two new engines, including a V-8 supplied by AMG. Below are additional details:

    18.5-gallon fuel tank
    10.6 cubic feet of luggage space when vario-roof is closed

    Head-thorax side airbags
    Adaptive front airbags
    Two-stage seat belt force limiters
    Forty percent increase in the use of high-tensile steel
    Robust steel tubes in the A-pillars
    Solid rollover bars behind the seats

    SLK 350:
    268 horsepower
    258 pound-feet of torque from 2400 to 5000 rpm
    24 valves
    0 to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds (with the 7G-TRONIC: 5.5 seconds)
    Variable camshaft control on intake and exhaust sides
    Two-stage intake manifold
    ”Tumble” flaps in the intake ducts
    Intelligent heat management system
    Standard six-speed manual; optional 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic

    SLK 55 AMG:
    355 horsepower
    376 pound-feet of torque
    0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds

    the nose is a bit so-so from the pics, i guess we'll have to wait on how it'll really look in real life

    Dati yung sa Tito ko na lumang SLK ang gusto ko ngayon ito nang bagong MB SLK ang gusto ko...Ganda ng loob and I like the front bumpers...

    ...di na ba gagawa MB ng mga performance cars na may manual tranny? especially for the AMG variants?

    ...though i never driven a car equipped with those semi-auto, paddle shifter, tiptronic, etc. i think that even if i get the chance to drive one, i'll probably never get the hang of it...

    may slk 55 na rin pala - with the upcoming c 55 that means the entire lineup of mercedes will be available with that amg '55' engine.

    talagang ayaw nila eh...matagal nang hinihiling ito ng US market.

    btw, the tiptronic/steptronic/user-shiftable automatics are very easy to get the hang of - and if you forget (or don't feel like shifting on your own), it will automatically do it for you
